WE ARE MEETING WITH THE CONCRETE CONTRACTOR SATURDAY APRIL 24 TO EVALUATE THE IMPACT OF ICE ON THE ROLLER RINK. ONCE RINK IS CLEARED FOR PLAY, ROLLER SKATING CAN RESUME. STAY TUNED HERE FOR UPDATES.

KEEP CHECKING THE WEBSITE FOR SCHEDULES.

NEXT SKATE: ROLLER HOCKEY WILL BE AVAILABLE UPON POSITIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE CONCRETE.

Welcome Back 14U Players!

Coach Shawn and I are excited to begin the 2010-2011 Ice Hockey season.

Starting in September we will work on conditioning and inline practices using ice hockey rules. Our ice season will begin with a travel schedule to Idaho Falls and Logan, Utah as early as October.

Classroom Training dates and location will be announced.

Natural Ice Rink Foundation laid out on Friday December 5 2008.

 Volunteer Members of the Board laid out white  reflective sheeting donated by several sign companies.
The 1st layer of water was then sprayed to soak into the ground to create the base for the ice sheet.

Natural Ice Rink in Capell Public Park

Winter 2008 The City of Chubbuck excavated a Natural Ice Rink in Capell Public Park.
The 200′ x 100′ Natural Ice Sheet will be filled, frozen, and maintained by volunteers from the Chubbuck Pocatello Hockey Association for the enjoyment of the entire region. The rink will be open access for free use.

Another Step Toward the Goal

Reaching another large milestone toward the eventual construction of a dual rink, indoor recreational facility, the Chubbuck Pocatello Hockey Association has purchased two Zamboni ice resurfacing machines from a hockey league in Canada.
