Winter 2008 The City of Chubbuck excavated a Natural Ice Rink in Capell Public Park.
The 200′ x 100′ Natural Ice Sheet will be filled, frozen, and maintained by volunteers from the Chubbuck Pocatello Hockey Association for the enjoyment of the entire region. The rink will be open access for free use.
This Fall, the CPHA obtained two professional ZAMBONI ® Ice Resurfacing Machines, which will be used to keep the ice in premium condition throughout the winter.
Safety: This is a public Park.
CPHA & City of Chubbuck advises all skaters to wear protective Equipment.
Equipment: Please provide your own Skates & Safety Equipment.
Donations: Ice Skates, Pads and Helmets are now being accepted.
Everyone is encouraged to find as many ice skates for community use as possible.

The CPHA will host weekly FREE hockey and skating sessions to provide structured use of the facility. Some skates may be available for use/rent.
Every skater MUST wear a helmet for safety.
Location: The Rink is just off Yellowstone Avenue, behind Chubbuck City Hall in Capell Park. Take Park Lawn Ave. from Yellowstone to the park entrance.
