It is the policy of USA Hockey that all adults (aged 18 or over) that participate in and represent the CPHA program and have contact with youth players apply for background checks every three years (e.g. coaches, team managers, on-ice officials, division directors, etc.).
This policy is implemented by the Idaho Amateur Hockey Association and strictly enforced by CPHA.

Coaches – I have gotten answers to questions coming in; so below is what I have been told.
Click on the following link and enter your name.
It will give you general information about your current certification.
If you click on the name it will give you the date of the last clinic and when it expires.
It also notes any online age specific modules that have been taken.
NOTE: Coaches need their age specific module this year along with their certification and background check to be on the ice.

Here’s the easy way to keep track of this:
-If you have a level 1 you must get a level 2 this year.
-If you have a level 2 you must get a level 3 this year.
-Level three coaches should check the sticker on their card or the web page listed above.
NOTE: Most level 3 folks have to do the online recertification this year. But some folks who took their level 3 last year don’t have to recertify until next fall.
